Joe Barrett, President & Chief Executive Officer
A seasoned entrepreneur and executive, Joe brings a 20-year successful track record of corporate, financial, sales and marketing, and operational leadership experience to his role at the helm of Quantum Art. Most recently he was Co-founding CEO of GoGo Images, a multi-cultural stock photography provider serving advertisers, publishers, and marketers around the world. Previously, Joe was Senior Vice-President of Marketing at Bill Gates-owned Corbis, the number 2 global image provider, where Joe led teams responsible for all aspects of marketing and communications, advanced technology, website customer experience, and customer and competitive market intelligence. Previously, Joe served as CEO of Count Me In Corporation and Vitessa; served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at R.R. Donnelley driving $200MM in annual business from Fortune 500 enterprise clients; and served as a strategy consultant at Alliance Consulting Group following graduation from Harvard Business School. Prior to earning his MBA, Barrett held various roles at Procter & Gamble for five years at progressively higher levels of responsibility in sales and sales management. Joe is on the Advisory Board of the University of Washington’s Information School.
Elizaveta Oganissian, Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
As CTO and lead architect at Quantum Art, Lisa drives the technology behind the company’s Content Management Services (CMS) product and solution offering. Lisa has overseen hundreds implementations for Quantum Art’s CMS customers, and served as technical lead on implementations for Amazon.com, CBS Sportsline, Bertelsmann, and Time-Life, among others. Prior to joining Quantum Art, Lisa was Senior Technology Architect at Intershop Communications, where she was responsible for driving solutions architecture and development, and oversaw implementations for enterprise clients. There, she was the catalyst for the Enfinity platform, as well as Enfinity Plaza, Intershop’s B2B marketplace solution. Lisa came to Intershop through its acquisition of Fountainhead Management, where she served as the Director of Software Engineering and oversaw all Fountainhead software development initiatives as well as key client implementations, e.g., Canon and Simon and Schuster. Prior to Fountainhead, Lisa worked for TechnoBank, where she was responsible for developing a framework for pattern analysis in determining applicant's loan eligibility and participated in designing financial information systems. Lisa received her BS degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University.
Mark McGee, Vice-President of Business Development
Mark joined Quantum Art in 2006 as Director of Professional Services after a five-year tour in Germany, where he worked as Senior Product Manager at Intershop Communications, an enterprise e-commerce software developer, and as the EMEA program lead at Hewlett-Packard for PRM Integration. While in Germany, Mark studied in the Euro*MBA program toward an International MBA. Previously, Mark cut his teeth in technology as Principal Consultant for Intershop San Francisco. Prior to Intershop, Mark worked as Director of Program Management for SBC Internet Services (now AT&T), and as Project Manager / Business Analyst at Franklin Resources Sales & Marketing. In addition to helping customers find success with content management and e-commerce solutions, Mark is a CRM business process and systems expert. Mark grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and studied Philosophy and Business Economics at University of California Santa Barbara. Mark’s responsibilities include building technology and referral partnerships, and managing the ongoing success of Quantum Art’s long-standing clients.
Wayne Chambliss, Vice-President, Sales
Building on a decade of software entrepreneurship and executive experience, Wayne has been a key force in developing and sustaining an extensive roster of satisfied Quantum Art clients in North America and around the globe. Before Quantum Art, Wayne was an analyst for Capstone Ventures, a VC firm focused on high-technology investments. Prior to that, he was the Technology Strategy Director for Gene Security Network, a biotech start-up funded by Sequoia and Claremont Creek Ventures. Before that, he was a co-founder and Vice President of Business Development of Nomea, LLC (now ConnectAndSell, based in India), which at that time focused on maximizing sales through business process outsourcing for a portfolio of clients in the biotech and software industries. His background also includes a stint as Sales Director for Tamarind, Inc., which produces corporate social utility software. Wayne attended Stanford University, where he pursued dual degrees in Symbolic Systems and English & Italian Literatures. When time permits, he is a widely published poet, translator of Italian and Russian poetry, and media critic.
Jennifer Hurshell, Chief Marketing Officer
Jennifer’s career spans 20 years of executive roles in Fortune 100, midsize, and entrepreneurial ventures. At Quantum Art, she is responsible for deepening the company’s share of targeted markets. Most recently, she co-founded GoGo Images, a multi-cultural stock photography provider serving advertisers, publishers, and marketers around the world. Previously she was Senior Vice-President of Image Licensing at Bill Gates-owned Corbis, leading the business unit responsible for 90% of the company’s $200MM+ revenue. There, she consummated two significant acquisitions while leading positioning, product management, assortment planning, pricing, creative intelligence, and content production & sourcing. Previously, Jennifer served as Director of Global Marketing Sponsorship & Communications of Volkswagen AG, where she rejuvenated the VW brand, leveraging rock music as a platform to deepen market penetration of younger customer segments. This effort culminated in the successful launch of the new Beetle in 1996, propelled by sponsorship marketing & world tours with “super groups” Genesis, Pink Floyd, and the Rolling Stones. In addition, Jennifer founded two successful businesses: Global Red, an international marketing consultancy working with Kodak, Hilton, UBS, etc.; and Richardson-Hurshell Marketing & Public Relations, voted one of Seattle’s top agencies in 1989.
Aparna Iyer, Senior Director, Product Management
Aparna is an accomplished strategist and leader in innovating robust business solutions and state-of-the-art web technologies. At Quantum Art, she combines research and analysis of customers, opportunities, competitors, technology, and market trends to manage the next generation of the company's CMS products and solutions. Prior to Quantum Art, Aparna led the technology and operations of Sun Microsystems' Sales and Marketing portals. There she evangelized and led cross-department initiatives on social networking, championed a green data center, and built efficient and cost effective applications. Before joining Sun, Aparna worked as a Senior Program Manager at Pro Unlimited, a global workforce management company. There, programs she led for clients earned her the "Rising Star of Technology" national award from Career Communications Group for Excellence in Science and Technology. Previously, she pioneered various key technology initiatives for large-scale projects at business solutions leader Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and India-based CMC Limited, an end-to-end IT solutions provider. Aparna has an engineering degree from Mumbai University, India. She is a cheerful optimist who loves to spend quality time with her family and travel the globe.
Lori Hawk, Controller
Lori is a tenured finance professional leveraging a broad spectrum of experience, including the rigor of meeting public company reporting requirements, the required expertise to lead ‘Big 4’ accounting firm consulting engagements, and successfully managing the financial set-up and administration for several start-ups. Previous to joining Quantum Art, Lori was Controller at GoGo Images, a multi-cultural stock photography provider serving advertisers, publishers, and marketers around the world. Previously, Lori held several positions over an eight-year period at Onyx Software Corporation (today Consona), a worldwide leader in CRM, Customer Process and Customer Performance solutions, including roles as Assistant Controller, Senior Systems Analyst, and Sarbanes Oxley Advisor. Prior to Onyx, Lori was a Financial Analyst at Attachmate Corporation, a leading provider of host connectivity solutions. Her carrier was launched at KPMG Peat Marwick as a Senior Consultant, followed by her appointment as Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Lori is a Certified Public Accountant with a BS degree in Accounting from Albright College. Mother of three sons and master multi-tasker, she has been an active volunteer Treasurer at her children’s schools.

Eugene Nikiforov, Chairman & Co-Founder
Eugene is a seasoned international business leader, and has been involved in electronic commerce since 1996. Prior to co-founding Quantum Art in 1998, Eugene was Director of Multimedia Development at Fountainhead Management. There, he oversaw a wide portfolio of clients including market leaders such as Canon and Simon and Schuster, enabling each to determine appropriate Internet strategies, evaluate applicability of software solutions, and assess and project long-term performance. Prior to joining Fountainhead, Eugene managed a long-term consulting engagement for Citibank, working with the internal technology division to develop the bank’s first Internet-based global financial platform. Prior to Citibank, Eugene served as Senior Financial Advisor at Interpegro Trading Company, managing the firm’s international financial transactions across a wide channel of partners, and supporting the firm’s Moscow, London, Berlin, Warsaw, and Zurich offices. In addition to his role as chairman and founder of Quantum Art, Eugene is also the founder and CEO of Ixtens, an ecommerce and product lifecycle solution provider. He holds a Masters Degree in Philosophy and Sociology from Moscow State University, and speaks 7 languages.
